We are getting a milk cow!!!

I wish I had room for a jersey also. Just wondering are you all going to drink the milk raw. And I hear a milk cow can give a half gal to a gal of milk and never dry up.

Yes, we are going to drink the milk raw. All we do is drain the milk so that any hair etc doesn't get into the milk.

We had a Jersey X Angus cow that we had before this one, and she probably gave 2 to 2 and a half gallons every morning. No counting what her calf drank. So a pure Jersey is going to give ALOT more!

Will you be hand milking or do you have a milker? I am super jealous I want a cow so badly and have for a long time oh well when I am older and have a farm I will have some cows.

We will be hand milking her.

We may get her tomorrow, or Saturday, we don't know yet. But probably tomorrow.
