We are getting closer to spring, whats your plan?

Yeah they are pretty nice people I mentioned to them I was getting coturnix and they said that they can include them to there chick orders from the hatchery they order from.

My first plan is to hatch some to sell, then hopefully to sell all my eggs as I did last summer. I have an order already, whenever the majority of my birds start to lay. The person wants every egg I get for a week, I figure I'll get about 40 eggs a day

I warned him, and he's fine with it

I have a lot of different colors. I'm hoping to work on getting some more red-goldens, but only have 2 females. So I guess I'll have to get more red-golden tuxedos, since I have plenty of white males. I will probably have many tuxedos, my tuxedo roo will be housed with the white females, and a white male with the tibetan females. I would also like to increase the number of cinnamons, right now I only have a trio. I am up to my ears in goldens, so most all of those eggs will be sold. But my browns are past their 1-year-old mark, so I'll have to hatch some of those to have for next year

A milking cow thats a big step lol, unless you really want it I bet theres more cons then pros, and what kind of rabbits do you raise?

Yea I am feeling that way about the cow more and more.. it is a lot easier to go to the store and buy a gallon than go fight a cow for it. I raise Angoras for wool and NZ for meat. I'm trying to cut back on rabbits though as feed has gotten expensive here for some strange reason. It was cheaper when I moved here 2 years ago..

If you're having to fight your cow, it's time for a new one! Once you get a sweet-tempered, calm, easygoing cow milking becomes the best part of the day! (for me at least, lol)

Plans will include...

Breeding quality...

Red/Red Tuxedo Coturnix
True Texas A&M Coturnix
BIG Jumbo Browns

maybe a few other color creations of Coturnix. And I will have a small mixed color flock of Bobwhite. Unless I decide to sell them but I doubt I will. Gotta get some more cages as I sold all my breeding cages last fall along with my breeders. I have had the bator going since January...and have had 2 hatches...plus eggs coming 1-2 a month. Have 2-3 more orders coming in next week.
Also might be working on SILVER/PLATINUM Coturnix.....but that is 50/50 as of now.
