There are only 5 more eggs left to hatch Out if the 43 developing eggs candled at day 12. Less than a full day old, they are zipping around the brooder. We had to remove them from the
brinsea mini as they filled it up with chicks. Then again after it filled up again. we put the small incubator into the brooder, open the lid carefully, then quickly evict the dry ones and replace the lid. I would worry about shrink wrapping the remaining ones, except they never stop hatching.
The second set of 60 are alone in the
brinsea ovation 56 With 45% humidity and the turner on And are at day 5 of incubation. So, all told the turner was off for about 10 hours and humidity raised to 65% for 40 hours To accommodate both settings of eggs. We have two heat lamps set up, 94.5 f under each with an over lapping area that is 102f. The chicks seem to like to be under the double heat zone for the first couple of hours, then move to single heat zone, before going everywhere. They’ve all been given a drink of water from a finger tip, several are actively using the quail water dish. They are all eating. ( that is 3xcept the 8 currently in the incubator screaming to be let out

. They don’t seem interested when we tell them as soon as they dry.
and then there is the one screamer who is needy, crying ever time we stop talking To it.
