Actually, it is a sellers market here, the price of homes are literally going up daily! Most homes in town are only on the market for less then a week. With so many people moving here for work, there is a housing shortage. And with people charging $1200/mo. for rent, where last year it was $450, it is cheaper to buy a house!

I would be thinking twice myself about moving anywhere back east at the moment.

I know you are already in to deep probably now. I wanna see pics of your new house. I love the house your in but I would not love the winters either.

I love my house I am in now, but we are looking to retire in 5-7 years and we really want to be in a place that we can manage in our golden years. Lets just put it this way, I know DH and I do not want to battle the severe winters up here when we are in our 70's....of course that is if we last that long...LOL..

Thats great about the pay raise.

They are having terrible weather is all....I hope it is all over by the time you get there or maybe you will be in a different part of the state, I hope.

Will you post pics of the new house too it better be comparable lol jk. I mean the wood...I love wood!

Some nice features for sure. I love the way the kitchen looks....I would want it wider though. You need butt room jk. Pool and hot tub will be great.

I like it because it has the acreage we want, a basement for those nasty tornados, a pool for when it is to hot to go outside, a hot tub for the winter, a barn for the horses and chickens, and enough room for DH to dig an acre pond so he can fish wen he chooses!
