The 5 I still have (alas, Spicy, who only lived 4 days (2 were sold)), are now officially hens.

Cordon, in broody jail for the second time this spring (she was the first to lay by a full week).

Chipotle, who has missed only 2 days of laying since she started in early December.

What breed are Teryaki and Cordon?

They are Blue Australorps -- from Welp via Carolina Town and Country in Sanford, NC.

I like them so much that I have 15 more Blue Australorps coming in late September.
