We call him? or her Mr T

I might be completely off here, but is she/he not a young white araucana?
Looks very similar to me, but I'm no expert :)

Thanks for the inpute everyone.

Ms T has bit of an odd comb with little fingers in it and yes she is about the size and build of the Araucanas we have hatched but her facial features are very different

I wonder if I put the wrong info on one of the eggs

Alongside the sex links, we hatched several Lavender Araucanas, 4 Black Orpingtons, 3 Welsummers, 3 Vorwerks and 5 Silver Laced Wyandottes as well
The eggs were collected by hand and all came from a different breeders and I ended using two incubators :)

Ms T may have hatched from one of the Aracanas however all the others Araucanas are definately Lavender.

One of the Welsummers is also a bit of a weirdo she came out of one of the very dark brown egg but she is a very rounded bird mostly White with speccled grey neck markings so looks like we have a Specled Sussex x Welsummer :)

I wil add some more detailed pictures later.

If it was an araucana then it would have come from a blue egg, did it? Looks to me like an araucana cross (which is what legbars were refined from). And I think that's a pea comb from what I can make out, if it was a legbar cross it would probably have some barring. Oh and she's a girl! Cochinbrahmalover - our araucanas are very different to yours aren't they?!

Changed my mind, there is no beard and yellow legs... Hmm now I'm stumped. May it was a lavender araucana rooster over a white sussex?!

Here is a decent head shot of Ms T

This by the way is our only proper sex linked pullet out of the hatch I mentioned at the beginning

As some of you seem to like them here are some of our British Araucanas I love their eyebrow tufts it makes it look like they can see where they have been but not where they are going!

This one we know is a boy ;)

This one has the biggest beard

This is blinkers! with my proper Welsummer hen

and this is the odd 'should have been a Welsummer' Chick!

Aww they are all beautiful! I see what you mean about her not looking like a full araucana, I still see araucana in her though.

I would love some araucanas, was meant to get some a few months back but the breeder kept messing up my order so I gave up with that place and got some different pullets elsewhere, sadly they didnt have araucanas. Such beautiful birds!

The "should of been a welsummer" chick is also wonderful - would be great to see what she turns out like when fully grown!

The 'wellsummer' is lovely. I had an aracuana roo and my silky hatched out this little baby from him. She has ultimate beard going on!
