We figured it out!

Our chickens have been escaping their chicken wire pen (they are only in it when we are home) a lot lately, and it's been a mystery how they do it! This was a conversation between me and my boyfriend while I was grocery shopping... I enlarged the photo he sent me so you can see it better!

Haha! That's hilarious! We have a gate out to the chicken yard that one of our hens kept finding her way past until one day I witnessed her waddle and squeeze her way under through the gap which I swear must have been six or seven inches high. It's incredible what escape artists they are!
