you birds sound awesome! I will try to keep spicy as close as possible to me as she is very young and lonely but i will have to get her outside soon as she isn't getting enough sunlight and is cooped up all day when i'm at school . I'm hoping we can get some other chickens and ducks to keep her company as soon as possible.

Are you a teacher? Can you take her with you. That’s what I do and that’s why they are so friendly. I have done the same thing with my goose. She would sit in a plastic tub in the front seat and honk at everyone. She loved the attention. I have some amazing videos of it but I can’t figure out how to share. Not that you want to see that. Just love you chick and she will love you. It seems gross buy when my chicks are babies they slept with me. My husband is a Saint!

Your new chicken has a rose comb and looks just like a Cinnamon Queen pullet I have right now. I think it's older than 5 weeks, too.

Glad you're able to take Spicy in and give her/him a home. Chickens are flock animals and it would be best to get Spicy some other chickens for company.
