We found out why my mom was sick last night

lol. I hear so many things. I also told the manager that her friend spit on the burger and gave it to a customer she did not care!

Yikes guys - my tummy hurts just quickly skimming these posts! I think many of us know how the chickens and cows are treated and raised that end up in these places - hormones, antibiotics, godawful feed, cruelty... - I just could not eat the stuff. Not that I don't get tummy aches from too much pasta and veggie pizza and chocolate! But hopefully that's a little less dangerous and just has to do with partaking tooooooooooooooooooooo much! My mom got so dreadfully ill from undercooked chicken in a restaurant once - we will never forget how sick - poor lady. Be well.JJ

But as any good lawyer would be sure to point out - why'd she eat FOUR? If the first one was slimy why eat three more?

Best thing is to call and let them know and move on.

I've had food poisoning one time--I started feeling queasy on the drive home and by the time I got to my bathroom, I had the worst case of vomiting I've ever had. I thought I was going to be turned inside out! It was worse than the post-op projectile vomiting after my hysterectomy.

I remember nothing seemed wrong with the shrimp pasta--no bad smell or weird texture. Fortunately for DH, he's allergic to shrimp and he got something else and escaped the food poisoning. Anyway, the restaurant didn't last long, probably 2 months.
