We Got a Puppy!

Hi, this could be boring to most of you but...... WE GOT A PUPPY! Her name is Noel, and she is 10 weeks old. She is a Malti Poo. At first I was worried that she would attack the chickens, but now I'm worried about the chickens attacking her! Hope this puts a smile on your face!

introduce the pup at this age to the chickens that they are to be respected corrections should be meted out lightly for her age firm NO she will learn quickly.. does look like the the poo has taken the lead in her genetics she may get big enough to protect the birds or be the bird dog that poodles once where

She is very small at this point too. The last time I weighed her she was 2.15 lbs! Thank you for all of the nice complements to my sweet girl!

My gosh, what a cutie! I recently got a puppy of my own, too. A Great Dane! He is 9 weeks old, 16 inches at the withers and is very solid. I introduced my pup to my chooks when I first got him, a week or so ago. That way he will get used to them. He acts interested in them and wags his tail at them, but that's it for now. At first, my ducks chased him and he ran with his tail tucked! Funny to watch it because he is so much bigger than them and he looks powerful, but really he is a big ol' scaredy cat!
