WE GOT EGGGGS!!!

One of my girls just layed her 1st egg. i am so eggstatic . my son said it took her awhile to come out her broader he was worried and checked up on her. he said when she finally came out she was just laying there when he checked on her again he saw the egg. Is there special care for her now that she is laying. what do i do now? should i change her diet? so many questions???? advice

Firstly congrats - always a great day when any girl starts to pay her way. Depending on your flock, you can either give layers feed, assuming you have pullets of the same age, or if not, then continue with General flock / growers feed and provide optional oyster shell in a separate feeder.
