We got our first eggs!!!!!!

My wife found these in the coop last night when she went to lock the chickens in. They were in 3 different places in the coop. Actually there were 4 eggs, but she dropped one. We aren't going to eat them because we don't know how long they were in there. I know they were'nt in there in the morning.
It's kinda coincindental, we just started feeding them layer on Sat. I guess I should start building the nest boxes?
BTW the white egg is just for comparison.

Yes you should start making it! That happend to me i found loke 10 eggs in the back yard and i didnt know so we are not going to eat it.

If they weren't there in the am and you found them last night they are perfectly fine to eat. Congratulations.

PS even if they were there overnight they are fine.
