we got our new chicks.

My son (almost 18) and I fell in love with the sizzels! We ended up with 2 sizzels and then 2 silkies. Almost came home with 2 frizzels! But decided to wait since these will be our first baby baby chicks.
They are now in my kitchen in a water trough with their brood light.
My son's Pitty wants to mother them and my pointer pup could really careless. I think she is gonna fake as being a hunting dog. Lol
These are the only pics I took. Its been a long day so I will post more tomorrow.

I didn't understand chicken math for a long time too! And by the time I could, the little buggers had won my heart and it just didn't matter anymore!
Here are two chicks that my hen, Riley Roo, hatched out about 3 or so weeks ago...I have a total of 7 silkies...well, 9 now !!!
