We got Quail!

We picked up Quail yesterday afternoon. We have 1 boy and 5 girls.

Frank (the one in the front)

Iris

Luna

Coco (the darker one)

Kiki

Mabel

They’re around 7 weeks old, and the buyer said they’re laying. We did put them near our chicken coop, and after a bit of confusion from both sides this morning they’ve figured it out.

Don’t get frustrated if they stop laying for 2-3 weeks while they settle into their new home.

Thank you. I knew that they most likely would stop laying for a few weeks, it happened with my chickens to. I am hoping that I might be able to get an egg or two, but I won’t be upset if it doesn’t happen.

I also just went out to check on them and found that Luna has “poo balls” on the tops of her long toes. Luckily they aren’t to bad, but I will clean them before they get worse.

I would cull Kiki it looks like it has birth defects
