We Gotz a Hatch !!!!

I'd been hearing a small "peep-peep-peep" from the incubator so just now took my flashlight and directed the beam into the water fill hole and heard a LOuD PEEP !

I am now proud to announce the hatch of a female Bielefelder chick. She is still kinda damp so I will leave her in the incubator till tomorrow. and get the brooder pen ready first thing in the morning so it'll be nice and warm.

Maybe her little "peep-peep-peep" will spur some of the others to hatch.

second baby hatched … but an error... both came from my Amerucana girls … one a silver blue and the other a black.

three babies so far today and a couple of others pipped and more "peeping" from the incubator.

# 4 hatched last night. Pretty sure it's a Bielefelder. Two more eggs pipped and peeps coming from both. today we will go into Day 23...so will give the rest a few more days. I am very pleased with this hatch...best we've ever done so far.
