We had two ducks one died

We had to baby ducks. We have chickens that are outside but the ducks i only about 3 weeks old just now started to get wing feathers. One of the baby ducks died will the other be okay tell we can get it outside with the others. Is there anything special that we will need to do because the chicks that we have are about 2 months older then the ducks and we have year old chickens too.

Sorry to hear that! do you have any idea what happened? generally ducks do better with at least one of their own kind. As well housing ducks & chickens together presents challenges, ducks are wet, messy whereas chickens prefer to be neither lol Also drakes(male ducks) have been known to mate with chickens which can result in death, do you know what sex your duck is?
