She was born here in January, and just as her siblings was doing fine, until she suddenly lost control of her limbs due to Marek's disease. Marek's Disease info

The CEO (chicken executive officer) put her in quarantine but with no mask(!), and nursed her back to health after about a week of St John's Wort therapy in a cage at night and out in a protected area during the day. During this period, I called her the Boneless Chicken. Now she's starting to lurch around, clearly regaining control of her body. I think I'll call her Lucky. I hope she's a good layer after all this trouble.

I'll post some pics and details of the cure soon.

Glad to hear that she is doing better. Hopefully, it wasn’t really Mareks disease, since symptoms might return, or affect other flock members.

It's not our first rodeo with Mareks. We're lost one hen, recovered two.

What dosage did you give, I have one I believe has Meraks.

St John's Wort at 1 pill per day. Each pill is 300mg.

That hen was choked out by a snake a few months later, alas.
Even a small snake can do a lot of damage, fyi.
