We have a PIP!

First Marans egg is pipping! Exactly 21 days ( to the hour!?) that we set the eggs! I have 7 and hope they all make it~ first time for me-so excited!

Cool!!! We set ours 20 days ago and just heard a little peep, but do not see a pip.

I hear peeping and tapping long before I see a pip.

What a long night! I need to just stop staring at the incubator! But the first to pip is finally making progress-shell is cracked almost halfway around and chick is peeping like crazy! And 2 more are pipping this morning!

2 chicks are here! Wow the humidity went WAY up after the second one came!

Hurray! I put some eggs in lockdown Friday night and now looking at hatcher!!!! Wayyhoo,,,,4 little pecks out....I cannot here this hatcher as it's so well sealed. Only after they come out and they are crying....I've got to stop going back and looking...Looks like one of mine has quit pecking through....Maybe just resting...Come on baby!
