We have an external pip !!!

Just me again , so last night i gave in and had a little candle of my duck egg , day 26 yesterday , it had internally pipped but not sure when , i could hear the little duckling talking and could see its little orange bill !

This morning , day 27 ive woke up to a little crack externally
Im so excited , not sure when this pipped must of been during the night , the egg is wiggling away , ive attatched a photo , as good as i could take one !!

Could this still take a while to fully hatch as i was due to do a 4 hour hike today ?

Exciting!! Yes, it could still take 24-48 hours to hatch, or even a little more!

Little Hope finally hatched 1 day early i think from what ive seen on the net this is a mallard ? But how cute , hatched about 10 mins ago !

What should the incubator temp be at ? I will be putting little hope into brooder tomoz
