We have chicks!

Hello all. My self and my wife took the plunge today and purchased some chicks from our local farm and ranch store. We brought home 4. 2 of them are Bantam Silver Cochin, and 2 are Bantam Gold Cochin. This is our first attempt at raising chickens. Our children are excited, and so are we. We purchased a coop kit from the farm and ranch store and I am in the process of setting it up. I look forward to sharing our experiences, and also reading about all of yours.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. I have only been here for a minute and already this forum has me reading every post. I am trying to learn as much as I can. It is going to be a great year.
