I have 5 girls 🥰

That's a nice backyard flock. Hope your other girls start laying soon.

Do you think so? It's probably "grocery store medium" :)

I bought a digital kitchen scale from a thrift shop for less than $1.00 to weigh my eggs. After 3 years of weighing eggs, I can pretty much guess the weight, but still get fooled every once in a while. Anyway, enjoy the girls and those fresh eggs.

We now have 3 beautiful eggs! All from the same hen (we do call her a hen now, right?)

Egg 1 weighs 1.7 oz
Egg 2 weighs 1.7 oz
Egg 3 weighs 1.7 oz

How's that for consistency!
And I know who is laying now. It's my Gerty. I watched her enter the nesting box on my coop cam 😁

Thank you! Can't wait for full production, so I can share with my family

What do you use for a coop cam? Any recommendations? I would like to find out which of my older hens are still laying eggs and which are not. Thanks.
This is the description. I love this camera!
