Checked the box when I got home from work and this is what I found. Two tiny green eggs.

I posted elsewhere but I forgot about this thread...Babette has started laying beautiful pink speckled eggs the last few days now! I'm in awe they're so beautiful!!

Her first pink speckled egg was enormous (shown next to a store bought xl white egg and her sister Lucille's brown egg for comparison), but then her next eggs were smaller again like in the last picture on the right. She has laid three pink speckled eggs now, one a day since Monday.

Love that they’re staying speckled!

LOL! The older ones are 20 weeks this weekend and the younger ones are 10 weeks this weekend. what about yours?
My two layers and their cockerel just turned 18 weeks, my teens (two EE's, two Silkies and 2 Polish - one of which is a cockerel) are 13 weeks and the babies 9 weeks old. All were born (so I'm told) on Tuesdays!

I have twelve babies (the 9 week olds) of all different breeds (except 2 more EE's) so I'm going to have to wait forever for a really colourful basket, but good things are worth waiting for
