If your coop is over 200 feet away from your dwelling go with wired. If it's under 200 feet you could go with a wireless system.
The wired is so much cheaper, better picture. You could ask your landlord if you could feed the coax up through the floor or wall.

The one feature that ours has that I like is that I can move the camera remotely from the computer. Look for one that does that!

PS we got to see Honoria laying her first egg today and she has no idea we are spying!
