Looking meaty already! Looks like a good set up you have for them. They don't roost anyway.

I didn't order any Cornish X this year (had too much going on, couldn't keep up with them) and now I'm regretting it.

Other than stewing hens, I will have to forego chicken this year because I can no longer bring myself to eat store-bought chicken anymore!

Thanks, they're doing great...I had a couple with leg problems but after removing the food at night for a while they all are walking around just fine. I thought maybe one of them was just gonna always drag his leg around but now I can't even figure out which one it was...

I scheduled their "time" with the Amish Butcher for the last of October. $1.85 a bird but then found another place in the same area that does them for $1.35
