We lost a duck

We lost our favorite duck yesterday somewhere between 4:00 and 5:00pm. We have 6 Khaki Campbells two are males. Our first hatch attempt 6 years ago of 12 eggs only hatched one duck we named him Lucky. He is one of the few raised as a pet and was the best. He was so friendly would always come running to my wife when he saw her come when called and would bite her toes since he was a chick. I came home from work and my wife was on the swing in the yard the ducks were around as usual then she realized lucky was missing. There was no signs of what happened he is just gone. We had a a couple other Predator kills in the past but they were just ducks with no attachment and there were signs of the kill.
