Its AWFUL today! We're flooding-good thing I'm on a hill. AND, I just heard that there is a tornado a couple of counties west of me heading this way.

Cynthia, it may not be such a good thing that you are up on a hill if there is a tornado. Let us know that you and your family are alright.

Must have fizzled out because it's calming down here. I'm on a small mountain/large hill surrounded by higher mountains, so I'd probably be fine. I'm just glad it slowed down raining. I got drenched trying to get some dumb birds back in their coop.

Yeah!!! It has rained for 3 1/2 hours....finally. We had tornado warning for most of that time....hope everyone is okay. Thank God for the rain!!

We haven't had anything major here in the piedmont just some light showers. That's ok thought. Hard rains after this drought would just run off into the storm drains. Nice light rain, softens up the ground and lets the rain soak in.

I was suppose to go kayaking this weekend but would gladly give it up for some rain.

We got lucky here (White Co.)...

Had a few light showers last night, Dh woke up to more light rain, and it continued until around 2 in the afternoon. Not alot of rain for the drought we are in, but it was a good soaker and the temps have really backed down. Barely made it to 75 today for lack of sunshine!

We got dumped on!!!! It poured steady for HOURS!!!

I had to go out and close the windows to the hen house last night (I got soaked) and the chicken yard was flooded. I was standing in flowing water about 2 inches deep.

We got 3 inches of beautiful, beautiful rain here!

Well, Sunday morning, sunshine, beautiful green grass, God is good. We wound up with about 3 inches of rain. And it has really cooled off. Just wonderful!!! MayberrySaint, I do believe I heard your rooster yesterday.LOL We had a fantastic day in your fair town. Wish I could be there next weekend for Mayberry Days, or whatever its called.
