We Must Be Doing Something Right... WARNING Picture Heavy

    But we're danged if we know what it is.

    Yesterday one of our cluckers laid this:

    Today she laid this:

    Here's both of them compared to what we usually get:

    The usual eggs are large, but these won't even fit into an extra large carton. OldGal thinks they're from the quacker, but she's a Khaki Campbell and they lay white eggs, right? Also the shell texture is all wrong. It's smooth, not rough like the one duck egg we've gotten.

    It just happens sometimes...wonder if it's a double yolker??? This is my BR's 3rd year, and she has laid some eggs since she started back (after winter/molting) that have made my eyes pop out...like you said, the egg carton wouldn't even close.
