Peter is a classic for a rooster, I think. But Friedwart ( the one who guards the peace) was the name of my first rooster and he lived up to his name.
The girls often have flowers as names like Rose, Dahlia, Pink, Daisy...but one of my fav. authors, Martin Walker, named his hens after female politicians and that is quite funny, I think.
So maybe some day I will have a Merkel and a Thatcher running around ....

Welcome, my girls always like to pick names from a favourite movie, old Disney like the seven dwarfs or more recent like up!

HAve fun with it I'm calling my ten girls all baby so that they all come at the same time!!

When some folks have one breed - they tend to call all their hens something like "Edith," because they look so much alike. That way they are always called by the correct name.
