DH and family processed 15 of our 32 meaties this past Saturday I was surprised that most of them dressed out at 5lbs 12oz or more. Had one big guy that weighed 10lb live weight. I roasted the one small 4lb hen tonight. I must say it tasted wonderful. I have had cornish crosses before but this bird had a much better flavor I don't know if it was because it was a broiler or if it was the organic feed we fed them. If I order more meat birds they will be from Meyer. We ordered 30 birds, received 32 and didn't loose any.
