We Quit Cigarettes

Yeah I know but I love it so much and don’t think I could ever totally give it up. :hit

But I guess I’m going to have to. :( :hit

Ok so.....no food is 100% off limits. Stick to the serving size on the package.
Read labels not all ice cream is created equal some are real ice cream but have lower carbs than the same stuff in another brand. Make conscious decisions if the goodies are worth the price healthwise.

Oreos! Serving size is 3 and carbs are over 30. Not worth it to me. I skip those all together.

Thank you!! This is very helpful and it’s probably not very good anyways and dairy kinda clogs my sinuses up anyway but I think I have a bit of an ice cream addiction haha and sweets in general.

Maybe I could just not eat it at all and then just go out/go get one every so often???

I tend not to follow anywhere near the serving size. I take a bowl and scoop and scoop (with a regular spoon but still) and practically fill the whole thing or at least half up  and some of these are pretty big bowls or at least normal size. It’s bad. I fill it sooo much. Way above the serving size. I think the serving size is usually like 3/4 of a cup? I am definitely way way above that.

I guess maybe if I stuck to the serving size it might not be so bad.

Oreos I don’t really like anyway. I try not to eat the processed sweets now and only either make it myself or for the ice cream I buy they all natural kind. There’s one that’s super bland and not very good but I love Tillamook.

Serving size is 1/2 cup. :(
Read the labels.....learn what they mean.

:sick I typed that in my mom voice!

His English is better than mine.
He kicks my butt on Words with Friends.
That's like Scrabble, correct? I haven't played that much. Chess is pretty much the only game I like.

And going vegan is a huge transition, but if you enjoy meat then it's probably what your body needs. I haven't even butchered any of our chickens yet. We have one left from the Halloween hatch that is a cockerel and we have a few others that we got from someone else that we thought might be pullets, but they aren't. So those 3 will be put on the table for my family.

I'm not sure if I will have an issue with butchering them, but I have euthanized a duckling that was having severe issues from a birth defect. I thought that I would have a very hard time with it, but I really didn't. So that's why I decided we could do meat chicks.

I hatch all of my own as well
Agreed—there's no one-size-fits all. I think too many people get caught up in the theoretics and forget to pay attention to what makes them feel good.

I am quite lucky in that I currently have no impelled dietary restrictions. I was on a gluten-free diet for several years, but after easing back into a diet incorporating it, I've managed to tolerate it without my symptoms returning, so :fl .

We decided we are going to go on nightly walks once it warms up. We have a nice trail next to our house that's all open field. It's really nice.
Why wait? Just wear the right clothing.

Wait I think I just changed my mind again.

We need a better title.
Suggestions?
FC's and KD's dominant extreme diet chat thread?
:gig

I think the thread title is fine as it is.....despite the topic 'changes'.

My husband was buying these all-natural cigarettes
Nothing 'natural'...marketing ploy.

Mine is about $270 a month.
Roll yer own, $125/mo

Man, a lot to scroll thru!
@Kiki I'm glad your day is going as well as possible.
Kudos and Cheers!

I think on the one I have it was higher but I may have read it wrong. Half cup sounds much better anyway. But for me that’s like one bite :lau

I usually do read labels though, read them on most everything, but then I ignore it

I’m going to start paying attention though.

Because my lungs can't handle the cold and it's not good for me to be out when it's 29. I just got over sepsis and pneumonia.

:lau that would be an appropriate and accurate title!!

And sorry, I meant the car payment haha I don’t smoke. But I imagine rolling your own would be cheaper for sure. :)
