Thank you everyone for your posts. I found the link very informative. I just can't do it. My friend who is the leader of 4H poultry and rabbits offered tonight to do the killing and bleeding out at her place. I know that she and her husband will treat him with respect. I also found a butcher shop about a half hour away that will take care of the rest.

Thanks again. These will be my last turkeys, I love them too much to have to go through this again.
