Chirping
@happy duck (Thanks for the reassurance
) I know, I want to cuddle him all the time too! but I don't want him to become so used to human contact that he can't be left alone.
I put him to bed in the warm incubator last night so the temperature wouldn't drop overnight. He was peeping an awful lot and trying to stand. He wouldn't stay in the cloth I wrapped him in and he refused to sleep on his side like he normally does, instead opting to lie with his feet under him and his head tucked down by his chest which looked a lot more normal! He was peeping heaps when I put him in the incubator and the only way he'd stop was if I held him. (No I didn't hold him all night)
This morning he seems a lot better than yesterday. He's opening his eyes more, and he's even standing! Albeit it is wobbly and he falls over a lot, but it's progress. He did a small poop (essentially a dark string) and when I dipped his beak in the sugar-water he even drank it himself (he didn't go back for more but still ^.^)
I think he's even trying to walk, he's pushing himself around slowly but he gets too tired, poor thing.
My parrot keeps coming down to try and feed him which he isn't too happy about either.
