Hello all. This little chick is less than a week old and came to me today. The chick is very wobbly, weak, stumbling and also feels quite skinny.

The previous owners found her in the nest box alone Monday night. The hen who sat on the chicks hatched three total but left this one in the nest box. They have her on medicated chick food, initially added Rooster Booster to the water and then switched to Hydro-hen.

The little one did eat and drink a little once here but has also ended up flipped onto it's back. Any and all thoughts or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I would get some chick vitamins that contain riboflavin on the label, or human b complex tablets, and give 1/4 tablet crushed into a spoonful of water daily. Dip it’s beak into water to get it drinking as often as possible. The chick looks like it is having a problem walking. It could be a riboflavin vitamin deficiency, a slipped tendon, injury, or something else. Look for any pasty butt.

Butt looks good and the one poop I've seen looked normal. I've added electrolytes to the water that contains riboflavin so here's hoping! Thank you!
