Weak baby quail?

Just wanted to come over and say a huge thank you to all the help and tips you guys gave us. (And show our now big babies!pic on the first day on the top area of the coop!) Officially 2 male and 2 female adults. Can’t wait for them to start laying eggs any day now! I don’t even know who scraggy baby was anymore! They are happy, healthy and started singing like adults last week.
Thank you again for all the help and support! 💜
I'm glad that they're healthy. Your male to female ratio is off, though, and things are likely to get bloody fast and soon. The ideal ratio is one male to five female, so you probably want to either get rid of a male and add a few females or just get rid of both males.

I was afraid of that! 😢 they are fine for now but I’m scared. I feel bad getting rid of them. Will they lay eggs with this ratio? If I get two or three more adult females will that solve it?

They may not lay if the boys are over breeding them. Even if you get three more hens, that's five. That is about right for one roo. If they don't have a ton of space and lots of hiding places, its very likely that one male will kill the other. Even with a lot of space and plenty of hiding places, it is still likely to get bloody and fatal if they don't have enough hens.
