I let my chicks out of the coop this morning & 1 of my 12.week old bard rocks was laying by the water dish & refused to get up, she is drinking water but then it runs right back out of her mouth, her poop is white & runny; I am a new chick owner so I picked her up and she looks great i took her outside & she walked slowly to some tall grass & laid down; any suggestions I'm really worried. I have 25 chicks, they are on organic chick feed, they free range & I wash their water bins every day & add 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar (with the mother) to it. They get their coop cleaned every week & I use only pine shavings.

Yes, I live in Texas, it's 99 degrees out. I brought her inside the house to keep an eye on her

Make her drink some water with electrolytes in it, or you can use some Gatorade or Pedialyte. Hold a small cup to her beak to encourage her to drink. After she drinks well, then offer some watery chick feed in a bowl, and maybe some chopped egg. Make sure that she is not being kept from drinking by the others. Multiple shaded water bowls around the chicken yard help keep them hydrated. I like to put a large flat pan 1/2 full of water for them to soak their legs to keep cool. Mine do it every day. At her age coccidiosis can be common, and the symptoms are runny poops with mucus or a little blood, weakness, lethargy, and puffing up/hunched posture. Corid powder or liquid from the feed store can be used to treat cocci. Dosage is 1 1/2 tsp of powder, or 2 tsp of the liquid Corid per gallon of water, for 7 days. Corid is not hard on chickens, even if she is just dehydrated. But dehydration is more likely in that kind of heat.

Thank you so much, I brought her in the house with the AC & I just made her some scrambled eggs, I will try everything you said, thanks again
