Hi there
It is my first time incubating, and only one of my chicks hatched it seems very weak, and when it hatched it was very sticky, which today was very hard so I bathed it gently in some warm water and placed it back in the incubator. It seems very weak and is not trying to walk and hasn’t become fluffy, but cheeps away when I open the lid. Do I need to attempt to feed it anything as I have seen that in other posts they will be ok for 3 days? And when will it be ready to place in the brooder? I am going tomorrow to buy some chicks which are a couple of days older and healthier as friends, but I am worried they will bully my chick need some advice really! Thank you very much in advance, I didn’t realise how stressful the incubatingprocess is for the chicks
