weak chick

We got a bantam silkie yesterday, put it under a broody hen. Doesn't look like she took to it. About 2 hours ago I put him under her again, and he was energetic and was fine. I came out just few minutes ago to check on them, and he was laying a bit away from a brooder lamp and is pretty weak. I gave it some gatorade and put it under a brooder lamp where it's warm. What else can I do?

Edit: just lost little one a few minutes ago. That just royally sucks
