Ok I found something today, this stuff: http://www.domvet.com/sulfaquinox.html I had to buy a huge jug of it, 4 liters. I have segregated her and given her the proper dosage in her water. It said it must not be use on laying birds, and that to wait 12 days after slaughter before onsuming. She has never laid an egg yet and I suspect if she does come back from the brink that it will be some time before she ever lays one, so I should be good right? Or would I never be able to eat her eggs?

Be sure and use the caecal dosage. Yes sulfa drugs almost always say not to use in laying hens, but most use the eggs after a proper withdrawal period.

well this is not helping. I am going to put her out of her misery today.

I'm so sorry that she has not responded to any treatment. Have you though about trying to do a necropsy on her to look for the reason she was so ill? Not everyone can do it, but if you could there are many sights online that will help you know what to look for. I don't mean to be unfeeling about this by listing necropsy links.
