Be sure and use the caecal dosage. Yes sulfa drugs almost always say not to use in laying hens, but most use the eggs after a proper withdrawal period.Ok I found something today, this stuff: http://www.domvet.com/sulfaquinox.html I had to buy a huge jug of it, 4 liters. I have segregated her and given her the proper dosage in her water. It said it must not be use on laying birds, and that to wait 12 days after slaughter before onsuming. She has never laid an egg yet and I suspect if she does come back from the brink that it will be some time before she ever lays one, so I should be good right? Or would I never be able to eat her eggs?
