Our six month old rooster has what appears to be a congenital leg problem. He always had weak legs and sat a lot, even as a chick. Now that he’s heavier it looks like his legs pop out of joint at the hip when he walks. His legs were never really splayed but they do seem to be set far apart. Has anyone seen this before?

If you can get some pictures of how he stands from the front and back, and maybe a video of him walking, it would help to get some ideas. What breed is he?
He’s a golden laced Wyandotte. Here are a couple photos... I took some video but can’t figure out how to upload it.

Looks like it may be varus deformity. Varus/valgus deformities (VVD) are more common in broiler/meat birds, but can happen in any. There are loads of articles on line about it, if you search. Here is an illustration of the deformity and an article on turkeys with some photo's.
