Weak Sounding Crow from my Rooster???? HELP!!!!

My rooster's crow has been sounding so weak that it sounds like a whistle... Everything's healthy about him except that he opens his mouth now when he's breathing, and his crow sounds very weak... I checked for gape worm by putting or swabbing a Q-Tip in his throat... Nothing... I need help now and look forward to YOUR answer or reply... Thank you and GOD BLESS YOU!

More information please, how old is your rooster? What is the waether like, [so mant people are suffering with 100 degree heat right now]....ANY other syptoms???
