Okay, so I know this sounds strange..But I was just thinking about it.
I am almost 19. This is my last year in 4-H.
Im now a 3 times grand champion and 1 time reserve champion poultry showman. I have two showmanship GC belt buckles, which I really like..BUT I NEVER WEAR THEM! SERIOUSLY! I was looking at the them in my drawer the other day, and I realized the only times I wear them are county fair, 4-H awards ceremony, 4-H demonstration day, and to a stock show where I know everyone else will be wearing them. So maybe a handful of times. And theyre gorgeous buckles, that took me 8 years and alot of work to win!
Anyways, Im wondering...How would it look if I wore one out in public like to class or to Bible study or something?
I know a girl who had a million rabbit buckles, and she was very conceited and wore hers constantly. I just wouldnt want ppl thinking I was showing off.
So what's your opinion on wearing belt buckles out in public? A bad idea or no?

If you are self-conscious about wearing them as a belt buckle, could you use them in some other way? Maybe on a jacket or hat or bag or something? That way you can proudly display your accomplishments in a unique way.

Congrats on all the wins! That is awesome!

Honey I've won a lot of buckles in my time and when I go out and go dancing and I'm in my boots and jeans, my favorite buckle is a big one that is engraved 4 July 1976 All Around Champion and my name and the horse Zon-Ton that won it. I've got newer ones but that is the one I am proudest of and I don't give a rat's butt if someone thinks I'm showing off. You won them, wear them!
