weasel attack

I need some advice on live trapping a weasel. I have one hunting my coop. It has already killed 2 of my mourning doves. (rescue birds) I have 5 bantam hens, and 2 bantam ducks with babies right now. Everyone is in weasel proof cages and very unhappy!!! I did manage to save 2 other doves, both had bite marks and feathers pulled.I read the predator page and by the description it sounds like a weasel.I also found the entry hole in the dove cage. small, about the size of a raquet ball maybe smaller, not as small as a golf ball. I have the trap baited with chicken.(cooked) should it be raw? What is the best bait?

What trap are you using? I would use a #110 conibear right over the hole. Just be sure to keep any pets out of the area while trapping. This trap will be the quickest and best way to eliminate the weasel.
