Weasel Solutions, Please?! (Warning Graphic Images)

Pics
I'll get photos today, it should help out better. I'll take a picture of the chicken killer if we caught it.

Speaking of holes, I forgot some detail yesterday. One of the chickens looked like it was trying to be pulled through a small hole in the fence located in a tight corner, and where the critter left there was a small trail of silkie feathers, only three, but zero tracks of the chicken killer.

The lucky survivor. My Splash Copper Maran.

That should heal up ok, keep it covered with some antiobotic cream like triple antibiotic or niesporin.
The stickyness will keep the flies off.
The trying to pull the chicken through a gap thing once again does not sound Like weasel.
Be prepared for other preditors with your traps. Set some bigger ones that will catch bigger preds like coon and possum...i have them, so do you.
Once again, good luck! And let us know if you catch this thing.

I wanted to continue with the traps, but my dad called it quits, & had me dump the carcasses. The gap in the fence between the coop where the critter tried to pull the chicken through is too small for a coon to squeeze through, it's like maybe 3 inches wide at most.

I would put snake/grape wire around the pen and pack concrete into the bottom of the coop. Cover the concrete with dirt and rocks. This has kept all the predators out that we have, even snakes! Prepare yourself for if a weasel gets stuck in a snake/grape wire. They usually can't get out and tangle themselves up and die.

Thanks. I need help figuring out away to prevent, or trap weasels to stop the rampage.

We don't have any of that. Thanks though.
