Weasels

For some reason my dogs don't see snakes as a threat or prey they will just walk right on top of them even if the snake is hissing like the snake isnt there as though it is just a boring insect.

other than cats and dogs anything else that kills weasels and stoats? any bird species?

they can fit through chicken wire and smaller holes than brown rats can, its impossible to keep one out almost without hardwire cloth.

This should kill them ... 44 Magnum!



Weasels needs a sturdy small 1/2" or less metal fence/enclosure ... Jack Russell Terriers will give them a good run for their life!

A weasel box trap can also catch them!

I have the little white weasels with the black tips on the tails everywhere on our farm right now. So going to do as everyone has suggested and cover my run with hard ware cloth top to bottom. 1/2. thick.

My wife claims she saw a weasel today in the yard but said it was as big as a small dog. She said it looked like a ferrit, whitish with black feet. I think it could have been the local groundhog coming out for spring but I'm still worried it is something else. Any ideas as to what it could be?

Weasels are not as big as a small dog. They are squirrel size at their biggest.

Has anybody a picture of theif weasel proof runs?? My ducks got attacked by a weasel so im needing to build a run for them so they can be safe and secure outside- ive never had to build one before so would be grateful to see

You will need to make sure there are no give or take 1/2" wide cracks around doors and windows or between any other joints or walls or what not, the walls and roof should be solid material or 1/2" wire mesh, and wire mesh should be sunk into the ground around the entire run to deter digging... Full sides and full roof, no openings...

Basically you need to imagine a complete bubble around the birds with no hole bigger than 1/2"...
