Weather-proofing coop

What’s best to use? Paint? Fence treatment?

Are there certain products that are harmful to chickens and should be avoided?

I used outdoor paint that matches our house. Looks and works great! Good luck!

You don't need to bother with paint, just get some roofing or tin sheets to make a roof and VWALA weather proofed coop.

Either one will work, depending on what your coop is made of. If you use paint, spend the money on good quality paint that will hold up. My coop is painted, it's made with smart side.
