Sorry to sound un optimistic, but that house will not work for ducks, or any fowl really. That kid's playhouse will fall apart after a few years of being in the element's, the windows/doors are not secure, a predator could easily get in there, lastly, the ramp is way too steep for ducks. I would suggest building a whole new coop altogether.

:welcome You might get some inspiration here

But I agree you can do some major work on that and might get by with using it but it is way to high off the ground for use as a duck house. You'll need to lower it to at least 1' off the ground put hardware cloth over every window. Some have converted them but it's a good bit of work to get them secure for ducks.

The house is in a fenced in enclosure including the top. I am 5'5 and can reach in and touch every corner of the inside The ramp looks steeper in the picture then it actually is.

Is that bird netting, most predators will tear through that like its butter. The ramp will definitely need to be lowered if you want ducks to go in it.

To answer your question, you need lots of ventilation, i would leave doors and windows open. Make sure it wont blow away in a strong wind. About the only way to fill the big cracks is expanding foam which you can get at the hardware store but i bet the ducks would try and eat it. Long stort short, leave it how it is and see how it works out.
