Is there anything I can do to get her foot back to normal? My little toulouse goslings left foot is swollen and I have no clue what to do for her. She is 3 weeks old. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.

Did she have a cut? if so may need antibiotics for infection. May need to be soaked. Possible hemmoriadal cream to affected area will reduce swelling. If not could be a Vitamin A deficiency. Could give carrots, sweet potatoes, dark leafy greens, etc. to help with deficiency.

Froggie, I just checked her foot, it looks like she has some kind of sore. What kind of antibiotic can I put on it? It also looks like the swelling is going down a little bit too.

Triple antibiotic ointment without pain killer should be helpful. Try keeping it as clean as you can. may need to wrap in a bandage to keep dirt out.

Usually at feed stores they have Terramycin for cattle. It is a powder you mix in the water. You would give her 1/2 tsp per gallon or 1/8 tsp per quart. It needs to be mixed new every day so mix small amounts and I'd treat for at least 5 days. It's a decent wide spectrum antibiotic.

The ususal dose for chickens is 1 tsp for gallon but on meds in the water you give waterfowl a half dose because they drink more water then chickens do.

I am NOT a veterinarian just sharing what has worked for me as far as an antibiotic for waterfowl.

Picture would be useful, sounds like bumble foot to me, get her/him straight to the vet!
