Webcam

Hi, I’m based in the uk and was wondering if anyone has had any success with a webcam, I’m thinking ahead to autumn/ winter when I may be indoors but still want to check on my girlies! I would like a simple cctv/ webcam that I can link to my iPad or iPhone to watch the girls wherever I am , any ideas fellow chookie owner’s ?

I bought the Wyze webcame and loved it! It was super cheap and I could use an app on my phone to watch live stream in HD or pre record if I chose. I got to watch my gals lay eggs and everything.

Thanks for the recommendation, looks like there’s loads of Wyler webcams so will need to research further

I have done similar for fish in large tanks. Power interruption and band width for signal transmission were issues. Additionally, my setup we had to make certain the router could talk to the device if distance great or barriers blocked signal.

I had to use lower end units that would not overload what our rural internet and cell phone service could carry. Otherwise video would keep freezing up
