Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.

I am thinking about getting 2 or 3 brown chinese geese to use as weeder geese but I'm not sure what plants they will weed and which ones they will eat. Would weeder geese be good for pumpkins, watermelons, cucumbers, and squashes?
