Weeds, WEEDS, and more weeds!!!! PICS INCLUDED

humm can you get a book at the library to match pics to plants..

I have true datura, here and in my garden ( not happy about I keep pulling it) anyway it is toxic to anything including people and the chickens wont touch it.. it has a smell when you brush up on it and they must know by smell to stay away.. cause they eat all other weeds...

The dark green in the first photo is lambsquarter. The stemmy plant could be groundsel. What you think is clover, is clover. There are many varieties of clover, you can generally tell by the flowers. The dandelion looking plant is probably chicory.

It doesn't take much to promote weeds. Your soil is already loaded with seeds. All it takes to get them going is to till the top few inches of soil and start watering.

I am not great at identifying weeds, but I have fed my chickens clover which you identified there, dandelion, violet, and lambs quarter. i did a search on the internet for edible plants/ weeds to see photos.

One thing the search revealed is to be careful differentiating queen anne's lace and poison hemlock.

This almost looks like Ragweed. Can we have a sideview so we can see the stem?

Here is a pic. I pulled some out so you could see it better.

They can eat all of that. I'm not sure about the first photo though. If that's groundsel, that's toxic to cattle and horses.
